(French, 1817-1903) Arranging the Bouquet, 1853 oil on panel signed Plassan and dated (lower left) 10 1/2 x 8 1/4 inches. The work is in stable condition and has been craddled to verso; the work was cleaned and had Maimeri retouch and Winton varnish by The Chicago Conservation Center in 1998 (label on verso). Framed: 21 x 19 inches.
