English, 19th century. Mahogany with oak secondary wood. A mahogany chest on chest comprising a molded cornice over a frieze surmounting the upper case, with two short over three long drawers, resting on a waist molding, the lower case with pull-out writing or work surface over three long drawers, each drawer of both top and bottom section having round brass pulls, above a serpentine apron, all raised on French feet. Approximate height 76", width 45", depth 23.25".
