Continental School, 18th century. "Portrait of a Young Child", oil on canvas laid down, apparently unsigned. Portrait painting depicting a young child at center seated in a red velvet and gold tassel accented diminutive chair with white lace bonnet, exposed shoulder whit top with lace trimmed wrists and blue shawl. Remnant of paper on back with handwritten inscription. Framed approximately 35.75" x 29.75". Unframed approximately 30" x 25".
