late 19th/early 20th century with shell-inlaid top and waved edge on square tapering legs joined by pierced stretchers. Height 19 x width 28 x depth 16 inches. The tray top has minor scratches in the mahogany and a larger scratch in the shell marquetry. The brass lift handle on one side has become separated and needs to be reattached. There is loss at that end to the rim that the tray sits in.
