$8,320
An Elvis Presley prescription pill bottle for Quaaludes. The bottle has a Prescription House label for 300mg Quaalude prescribed to “E. Presley” by Dr. Nichopoulos (Dr. Nick), dated January 20, 1977. The label instructs that Presley should take the pills as directed. Presley is known to have taken this drug in combination with other benzodiazepines and other sedatives to relax, presumably to escape the pressures put on him due to his heavy work schedule. The prescription bottle was left with Dr. Elias Ghanem, who treated Presley at his residence behind the Las Vegas Hilton in the mid-1970s, and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the estate of Dr. Ghanem.
