A handmade six-course lute owned and played by Pelé. The lute is built with a solid spruce top with one large and two small decorated sound holes, an inlaid mosaic large soundhole ring, and a bird inlay by the 12-string wood bridge that is attached to the face of the soundboard. The back of the instrument is built with multiple strips of hardwood ribs with inside back bracing forming the rounded back body. The non-fretted neck is inlaid with a vine motif with a side binding that matches the binding on the body. The six-on-a-side slotted headstock is fitted with a set of 11 ebony friction tuning pegs with white tips (one peg is missing).
