A group of correspondence from Frank Sinatra to Sammy Davis Jr. , including a typed letter dated June 20, 1983, on Frank Sinatra stationery that reads in part, "Dear Smokey, I am really very happy that you are being honored by the State of Israel for all you have done on behalf of the youngest democracy in the world and the Jewish community at large," and is signed "The Leader"; a typed letter dated October 30, 1985, that reads in part, "I love you, I have loved you and I will continue to love you. Anybody hits you, call me!" and is unsigned; and a Mailgram dated April 17, 1978, that reads in full, "Dear Smokey, Please do a number for my cousin Bennie Madonia from Buffalo New York who [sic] sitting in the fifth row in the balcony. I'll do the same for you some day when one of your relatives from Mombasa comes in to see me. And dats dat. The Leader." Together with a pair of typed signed letters from Barbara Sinatra from 1983 and 1988.
