A Janis Joplin handwritten set list written on the back of a 1968 handbill. The list includes six of Joplin’s early recorded song titles and notes. The titles are written in both pencil and blue ink: “Trouble in Mind,” “Long Black Train,” “Kansas City Blues,” “Hesitation Blues,” “Down and Out,” and “Daddy, Daddy, Daddy.” A phone number is also written in the bottom left side of the page. The handbill, titled “Trip or Freak,” promoted the 1967 Halloween show at the Winterland Ballroom, where The Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service, and Big Brother and the Holding Company performed. 3 3/4 by 7 inches Categories: Janis Joplin
