A U2 signed Gretsch guitar from Edge’s personal collection. The guitar was used in studio by Edge on U2’s Songs of Innocence (2014) album, signed by Edge and his U2 band members: Bono, Larry Mullen, Jr. and Adam Clayton. Edge can be seen here playing the same or similar guitar. Donated by Edge to a charity event. U2 made history when they gifted Songs of Innocence to more than 500 million iTunes users in September 2014. It is the bands 13th studio album and their first release in five years. Gretsch G6118T-LTV 130th Anniversary Jr. model guitar, serial number JT13114972, nitrocellulose lacquer black top finish and metallic gold back and sides, single 2 1/4 inch deep cutaway, arched maple top and back, three-piece maple neck, TV Jones Power’Tron neck and bridge pickups, Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, neoclassic “thumbnail” position inlays, headstock has the pearloid Gretsch logo with an anniversary model plaque. This model is part of Gretsch’s Professional Collection commemorating the company’s 2013 anniversary of 130th years in business. Accompanied by a guitar strap and a hardshell case.
