A gold tone crown presented to Pelé on April 2, 1970 by the organizers of the Torneio Hexagona do Chile. The crown was presented to Pelé in advance of Brazil’s match with Mexico in the tournament. The crown features a velvet dome and white fur surrounding the base. Brazil would go on to rout Mexico in the match, with Pelé scoring a hat-trick. The crown is accompanied by a copy of the book Segundo Tempo : De Ídolo a Mito [ According to Time : From Idol to Myth ] by Odir Cunha (Brazil, Magma, 2014).
