Boch Frères (Belgian, founded 1841). Two similar art deco glazed and enameled ceramic vases, circa 1926, each with underside maker's mark "KERAMIS, Made in Belgium", each with date "1926", one marked with "v v", the other marked with "x". Each of bulbous form with yellow, black and pale blue floral arrangement vignettes (bouquets), each with brilliant orange background and each with black neck and base rim with linked almond form patterning. Distinguishing characteristics to necks: one with two bands of linked almond forms, alternating in white and yellow, on neck; the other with a single band of linked almond forms, alternating in white and yellow, at base of neck. Additional distinguishing characteristics to rim of base: one with three bands of linked almond forms, alternating in white and yellow; the other with a single band of linked almond forms, alternating in white and yellow. Each approximate height 6.5", diameter of mouth 2". Provenance: The Richard and Merle Haber collection; whereby acquired by present owner.
