A framed paper certificate presented to Pelé on August 13, 1991, commemorating his election as an Honorary Member of the Íþróttabandalag Akraness Football Club. The Icelandic sports club, founded in 1946, is based in the town of Akranes, West Iceland. The certificate is accompanied by a trophy composed of a stylized sterling silver key mounted on a black granite base with a sterling silver plaque engraved "Always Welcome Pelé, Honorary Guest of Akranes [Iceland]."
