An honorary citizen certificate presented to Pelé in 1987 by the city of Atlanta, Georgia. Pelé was in Atlanta on October 19 to present Ford Foundation/Pelé tuition awards to 10 high school seniors. An inset white panel has lettering that reads "City of Atlanta/ On behalf of the people of Atlanta,/ it is my honor to declare that/ Pele/ is an Honorary Citizen of our City."
