A silver tone plaque presented to Pelé on October 23, 1968, by Rádio TV Gaúcha, the newspaper Zero Hora , and the Excelsior Television Network, in tribute to his glorious contributions to Brazilian sports. On October 23, 1968, Pelé's Santos team defeated Internacional FC of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul state, 3-1, in the Roberto Gomes Pedrosa Tournament. Played in the Estádio Olímpico in Porto Alegre, Pelé scored one goal in the match. Also known as Taça de Prata, or nicknamed Robertão, this competition was contested in Brazil between 1967 and 1970 among football teams from the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Minas Gerais and Paraná.
