" The medal features a low relief image of the stadium at center, with the words "Estádio Governador Magalhães Pinto" appearing above and the words "Inaugurado Em 5-9-1965" appearing below. The back of the medallion is engraved "Pelé" with the words "Belo Horizonte [Beautiful Horizon] - Minas Gerais - Brazil." While the stadium was inaugurated in 1965, the back of the medal features the date "2-11-68," which indicates Pelé was presented this medal three years after the stadium's opening.
