Maddox Tables Colonial Revival style walnut slant front desk; features serpentine front with four drawers atop carved ball and claw feet; slant top opens to reveal a fitted interior featuring two secret pull-out document holders disguised as side pillars to center compartment's prospect door, letter files and four document drawers; marked to back "Maddox Tables of Jamestown, NY." and a placard marked "Sold by Woodward & Lothorp, Washington, D.C."; measures approximately 39" high, 31-1/2" wide, and 18" in depth; in Good condition, consistent with age and use.
