The performance of these watches was extremely good for the time, since a Bulletin de premiere Hasse was delivered by the Canton of Neuchatel for one of them, although it was fitted with a cylinder escapement. From 1884 onward, Loehr had his watches produced by Hahn & Cie in Landeron near Neuchatel, in square cases to ensure that they will remain in the pocket, in the vertical position.
