Large ceramic vase body decorated with peonies and foliage, ceramic lion mask ring handles on the neck, gilt-brass lion mask ring handles to each side, gilt-brass gallery at the base, the top surmounted by a gilt-brass crouching winged satyr holding aloft a torch, a serpent around his waist, hinged beaded bezel with flower swag mount housing the clock, carved wood "Chinese" stand. Gilt-brass with radial blue Roman numerals on white enamel cartouches. Steel spade hands. Circular brass plates, going barrels for both trains, platform lever escapement, index regulator, striking on a bell. Notes DIM. 98 x 26 cm.
