Chinese export, 19th century Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). A finely painted large and impressive center bowl or punch bowl decorated in the English tradition on tondo with a hunt scene depicting many riders on horseback surrounded and accompanied by spotted hounds and set in a vast hilly landscape with red brick architecture, trees, and shrubbery, the round foot and the interior rim with a band of inverted gilt fleur-de-lis outlined in red, the interior medallion with a single horse on rider jumping through a landscape.
