COCKTAIL WATCH GOLD AND PLATINUM DIAMOND AND RUBY Probably French, the movement Swiss. Made circa 1940. Fine and very elegant, asymmetric, 18K gold, platinum, diamond and ruby set lady's cocktail watch with integral hinged 18K gold bangle. Two-body, cylindrical, polished, diamond-set terminals each set with a cabochon ruby in a platinum collet, mounted on the terminal of the bangle with a line of calibre-set rubies, articulated serpentine plate set with a line of white diamonds set in platinum, scroll clasp pavè set with diamonds, bangle engraved with initials "SD". Brushed gold with black baton indexes. Blued steel lozenge hands. Rectangular, rhodium plated, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with 2 adjustments, flat balance spring, index regulator. Movement signed "Haste, Swiss", bracelet engraved "Patente Pendante". Notes DIM. 25 x 35 mm. Approx. overall length 160 mm.
