Silver, oval case with cherub finial, the back painted on enamel with a scene of Apollo and Daphne, mounted on a silver camel above a domed base decorated with painted on enamel vignettes from classical mythology intersected by applied enameled masks, winged cherub scroll feet. Silver with black champleve radial Roman numerals, the center and outer border with polychrome champleve enamel scrolling foliage. Gilt hands. 30 mm., matte gilt, full plate, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three- arm brass balance, flat balance spring, continental cock with steel endplate, rack and pinion regulator.
