Gold, two-body, egg-form, overlaid with translucent royal blue guilloche enamel, the lower body mounted with chased gold swags supported by ribbons and set with cabochon rubies, waisted base on a further circular base mounted with a gold continuous laurel wreath pattern, hinged lid set with gold foliage surrounding four white enameled Imperial arms each set with a rose-cut diamond, gold foliage between set with cabochon rubies, silver ribbons set with rose-cut diamonds, surmounted by a gold and white enamel Imperial crown set with rose-cut diamonds in silver, cabochon ruby-set thumb-piece, the lid opening to reveal a silver elephant with gold tusks and cabochon ruby eyes, gold and translucent red enamel cover on the elephant's back set with a cabochon ruby in a chased gold mount, standing on an opalescent radial guilloche enamel reserve with gold beaded border, royal blue translucent guilloche enamel outer border.
