Fine and very unusual, Art Deco Rolesium and reptile-skin travel watch with "observatory quality" movement. Three-body, spring-loaded, all covered in green reptile skin with metal band in the front, dust protective nickel/ aluminum cap, patented sliding mechanism. Two-tone silver with black arabic indexes, inner minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel baton hands. Rectangular, 7 1/2''' Extra Prima Observatory Quality, rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, lateral lever escapement, monometallic balance, 6 adjustments, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Notes Dial, case and movement signed. DIM. 25 x 41 mm. Found in a variety of case finishes, plain silver, lacquer or reptile skin, these rare travel watches made by ROLEX were prone to damage.
