PATEK PHILIPPE REF. 3504 WHITE GOLD Patek Philippe, Genève, No. 711006, case No. 314974, Ref. 3504. Made in 1963. Fine and rare, center-seconds, water-resistant, 18K white gold wristwatch. Accompanied by the extract from the archives. Two-body, polished and brushed, screw-down case back, stepped inclined bezel, recessed winding crown, lapidated straight lugs. Satiné silver with applied white gold baton indexes, outer dot minute division. White gold dauphine hands. Cal. 27SC, 18 jewels, straight- line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan- neck micrometer regulator. Notes Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 35 mm. THICKNESS 10 mm. REFERENCE 3504 is a very unusual reference and has only ever appeared at auction once in the last 30 years. With a case resembling most Patek Philippe of the time, the combination of a white gold waterproof case with a center-seconds is certainly unusual and contributes to the more modern look of this reference.
