Very fine, large, 18K pink gold, heavy, hunting-cased, keyless pocket watch presented to the Spanish Modernist Sculptor Miguel Blay by the Spanish residents of Argentina. Accompanied by the original Patek Philippe morocco fitted box, Bulletin de Marche from the Observatoire de Geneve, spare crystal and the Extract from the Archives. Four-body, “bassine”, engine-turned covers, polished borders and band, the front cover with a central finely engraved foliate monogram “MB”. Dedicated hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Gold “spade” hands. 20’’’, frosted gilt, bar caliber, 21 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, Patek Philippe patented micrometer cam regulator.
