Made circa 1939. Very fine, tonneau-shaped, self-winding, water-resistant, pink gold and stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with a pink gold and stainless steel bracelet 'à grosses mailles' by Gay Frères. Three-body, bicolor, polished and brushed, screwed down case back and crown, pink gold reeded graduated bezel and winding crown, steel case. Champagne with luminous Arabic numerals and triangular and baton indexes, subsidiary seconds dial. Luminous blued steel “skeleton” hands. Notes This watch is in very good condition, and is therefore highly desirable to a collector. Ref. 3458 Production of this model started in the 1930s and continued during the 1940s, in stainless steel, steel and gold, 14K gold and 18K gold.
