White Gold “Prince Brancard Jump Hour” Rolex "Prince Brancard", Ref. 1491, movement No. 75480, case No. 1578, retailed by C. Bucherer. Sold on August 7, 1945. Very fine and extremely rare, jump-hour, rectangular curved, flared, 9K white gold gentleman’s wristwatch with a 14K white gold Rolex buckle. Accompanied by the original certificate, invoice, “bulletin d’observatoire” and fitted box. Two-body, flared, polished and brushed, stepped sides, back with faint engraved dedication. Two-tone brushed gilt with painted Arabic numerals for the minutes, subsidiary seconds, aperture for the jump-hours in gold Arabic numerals on a black ground. Blued steel “Moderne” hands. Notes It is rare to find a Rolex Prince “jump hour” in such origina, untouched condition. Ref 1491 and 1491 HS. Manufactured in solid silver, in stainless steel, stainless steel and gold, in 9K, 14K, and 18K gold, in 9K, 14K and 18K bicolored gold, and in platinum.
