Fine and rare, cushion-shaped, self-winding, center seconds, water-resistant, gentleman`s wristwatch with alarm, date and a stainless steel Omega bracelet with deployant clasp. To be sold without reserve Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, threeposition alarm setting crown at 2 o´clock, recessed date corrector in the band at 3, winding crown at 4, screw-down back engraved with “Seamaster” logo, hesalite crystal. Gray and black, applied white-painted steel baton indexes with luminous tips, outer minute/seconds divisions on a gray reserve, date aperture, two inner gray revolving discs for the alarm, an orange triangle for the hours and a double orange line for the minutes. Luminous white “baton” hands, orange seconds hand. Cal. 980, copper-colored, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapment, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring. Dial, case and movment signed. Dim. 40 x 51 mm. Thickness 15 mm. Property of a South American Gentleman Notes The Memomatic line was launched in 1970. It was the world´s first self-winding alarm wristwatch with just one barrel, allowing for the simultaneous winding of both the timekeeping and alarm functions. In the alarm function, a hammer strikes a vibrating blade. The Memomatic was also the first alarm wristwatch in which the alarm could be set to the exact minute.
