Very fine and rare, early, rectangular curved, 18K white gold gentleman's wristwatch with white gold Vacheron & Constantin buckle. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Two-body, polished, rectangular with canted corners, wide bezel. Matte silver, brushed, with painted blackupright Arabic numerals. Blued steel "cathedral" hands. Cal. R.A. 9’’’ 94, rhodium plated, "fausses côtes"decoration, 17 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, five adjustments, flat balance-spring.Dial and movement signed, numbered and signed by Perrin on the case.Dim. 23 x 39 mm. Thickness: 7 mm. Notes The movement and dial of the present watch were sold to the Perrin Company in the USA, which then made the case. This model, with its sharp geometrical design typical of the Art Deco period, reflects the influence that cubism had on industrial design.
