Very fine and rare, center-seconds, 18K white and yellow gold gentleman’s wristwatch with a yellow gold Vacheron & Constantin buckle. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Three-body, bicolored, solid, polished, stepped bezel with a flat white gold ring bearing 12 fluted yellow goldindexes, stylized fancy lugs. Guilloché, gilt, with outermost painted seconds track. Yellow gold "bâton" hands. Cal. 1002, rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, berylliumbalance with timing screws, adjusted to temperatures, self-compensating flat balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 34 mm. Thickness: 8 mm. Notes Ref. 6139 with stepped bezel, was probably an experimental model, given its rarity and the combination, unusual at the time, of yellow and white gold.
