Notes The Breguet and Vacheron Constantin firms are linked in several ways: the Genevan manufacturer furnished watches to the famous Parisian watchmaker. Several of these occasions were recorded by Jacques Barthélémy Vacheron in the company registers in 1810. In addition, the ideas of Breguet, his mechanical genius, his many inventions, and the stylistic revolution he accomplished, inevitably influenced the other watchmakers of the time. Many other companies adopted the ideas and innovations of Abraham Louis Breguet, sometimes even improving on them. The harmonious elegance of the present watch is an excellent example of this.
