Flemish Verdure tapestry palatial in size and woven in wool with remnants of silk depicting a wide landscape with prominent pair of birds fighting amid rockwork within a forest setting, a marshy stream with a pair of ducks opening to a lake, over head a perched exotic bird, the background featuring a demi lune form stepped fountain, the wall with sculptural figural niche behind it, receding to a distant village in forest set within rolling hills, all set within four sided border woven with stylized botanicals.
