Notes “Tour de I’lle” The name “Tour de l’Ile” refers to the place, in Geneva’s Saint Gervais quarter, where the workshops of Vacheron Constantin were located for approximately 200 years. Befitting their position as master watchmakers, Vacheron Constantin have created the most complicated wristwatch ever made in series production. It comprises a total of 16 complications arranged over two dials. This ultra-compli-cated wristwatch is made up of 834 components and represents a “tour de force” in the world of haute horlogerie, with a total of over 10,000 hours going into the research and development of the movement.
