Fine and rare, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with a stainless steel Vacheron & Constantin buckle. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Two-body, polished, screwed-down case back, concave lugs. "Satiné" silver with applied lapidated steelindexes. White gold “bâton” hands. Cal. K 1071, stamped with the Geneva Seal, rhodium-plated, 29 jewels,straight line lever escapement, beryllium balance with timing screws adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and fivepositions, shock-absorber, Breguet balance-spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, 18K gold-edged rotor withruby roller bearings.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 37 mm. This patent was granted on 15 December 1958 for a new automatic winding system which resulted from the colla-boration of the Vacheron Constantin and the Le Coultre research and development departments.
