Double-body, back chiseled with a bacchanalian sceneenclosed within a lambrequin, mask and foliate strapworkborder, the bezel decorated to match. White enamel withraised cartouches for blue radial Roman numeral hours, innerquarter-hour enamel ring, outer minute markers and Arabicfive-minute markers. Steel "fleur-de-lis" hand. 46 mm,hinged gilt brass full plate with divided Egyptian pillars, fuseewith chain, verge escapement, steel three-arm balance, flatbalance-spring, rack and pinion regulator, large Louis XIV cockchased with foliage and dragons, mock pendulum aperture.Back plate signed.Diam. 58 mm.
