Breguet et Fils, Swiss. Made circa 1815. Fine and unusual, half skeletonized, quarter-repeating, 18K gold watch with three automaton Jacks and a small concealed erotic automaton scene. Three-body, solid, engine turned with reeded band. Spring-loaded hinged, gilt cuvette with a small varicoloredchased gold erotic automaton scene in the center concealed behind a sprung and hinged cover released by a catchat the edge. Small white enamel annular chapter ring with Breguet numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel“Breguet” hands. “Martin-Martine” type varicolored chased gold Jacks on each side of the dial over the polishedsteel repeating work set over the frosted and gilt front plate, appearing to strike the hours and quarters ontwo bells. A small gold appliqué below the dial with trophies of love and a cherub striking a further bell. Gilt brass, full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance,flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece, repeating on two gongs bydepressing the pendant.Cuvette signed.Diam. 57 mm.
