“Slim 12''' Single Button Chronograph” Patek Philippe & Co. , Geneve, No. 198491, case No. 619187, Ref. 130. Made in 1932 (movement), cased in 1939, sold June 25, 1940. Extremely rare and probably unique 18K yellow gold gentleman's slim wristwatch with single button chronograph on the crown, register and tachometer, and an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, concave curved lugs. Matte silver withapplied gold Roman numerals for 12 and 6 and dot indexes, subsidiary seconds and30-minute register dials, outer 1/5th second scale, concentric, tachometer and minutegraduation. Gold "bâton" hands. Notes Several elements suggest that this watch was a unique prototype: the 12’’ movement (2.255 mm smaller than the usual 13’’’ one); the fact that the watch is flatter by 1 1/2 mm; and that the chronograph bridge is not engraved in the usual manner. The signature is engraved on the movement, as is stated in the Extract from the Archives.
