Geneva, circa 1900. Very fine 18K gold and enamel diamond-set keyless pendant form watch in the shape of a beetle with a blue enameled chain. Four-body, spring-loaded wings, translucent blue enamel overengine-turning graduating from light to dark and set with rosecutdiamonds, opening to reveal the dial, neck and head set withdiamonds, the eyes with sapphires, gold glazed cuvette. White enamel, Arabic numerals, outer minute track. Bluedsteel hands. 15.8 mm (9’’’), gilt, 18 jewels, straight-linelever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, flatbalance spring.Dim.
