“Bagnolet Type” Aubert & Capt, Genève, No. 7029. Made circa 1820. Very fine and very small, extra-thin, 18K gold pendant watch with a gold Breguet-type ratchet key and short double-link chain. Four-body, engine turned and polished. Hinged gold cuvette. Later brooch fitting. Gold with champlevé radial Roman numerals,outer minute divisions, engine-turned centre set with a faceted stone above 6. Gold Breguet hands. 22 mm, frosted gilt, Lepinecaliber, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm brass balance, index regulator. Cuvette signed.Diam. 27 mm. Notes Aubert & Capt Specialized in horology, “bijouterie” and mechanical pieces. They had a branch in London called Aubert & Kloflenberger.
