“Double-dialed” E. Ld., Swiss No. 1678. Made for the Islamic market, circa 1890. Very fine and unusual double-dialed 18K gold keyless halfhunting- cased pocket watch. Three-body, "bassine a fillets", polished, front with aperturesurrounded by black enamel radial roman chapters and minutetrack, back with applied gold monogram. First: white enamelwith radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and subsidiaryseconds. Blued-steel double spade hands. Second: white enamelwith Islamic numerals, outer minute track, regulation sector atsix. Gold double spade hands.
