“Musical Watch” Signed Breguet et Fils, No. 14723. Made in Switzerland, circa 1825. Very fine, small and rare 18K gold lady’s musical pendant watch, playing on the hour and at will. Four-body, "Empire", fluted bezel, floral band in high relief, engine-turned back with fluted border. Gilt cuvette. Gold, engineturnedwith white enamel reserve for the signature, small eccentric chapter ring with radial Roman numerals and outer minute markers.Blued steel “fancy” hands. 34 mm., gilt, standing barrels, inverted cylinder escapement, three-arm brass balance, index regulator,pin-disc musical movement with 16 individual steel blades. Dial signed. Diam. 40 mm.
