"Secondes Foudroyantes" F. Guédin, Geneva, No. 11262. Made circa 1870. Very fine and rare 18K gold, hunting-cased pocket watch with double-train independent split seconds chronograph and 1/4 second diablotine. Five-body, "bassine et filets", engine turned and polished covers and reeded band. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, outermost seconds divided into quarters,subsidiary quarter-second jump diablotine. Blued-steel "Breguet" hands.
