Longines, “Chronographe”. Made in the 1920s. Very fine, keyless, 18K yellow gold chronograph watch with instantaneous 30-minute register, tachometer and telemeter scale. Four-body, “demi-bassine”, solid, polished, engine-turned case back with monogram, gold hinged cuvette stamped with award medals from different exhibitions. White enamel with painted Arabic numerals, outer minute and chronograph divisions, outermost red telemeter and blue/black tachometer graduations, sunk subsidiary seconds and instantaneous 30-minute register dials. Yellow gold “Breguet” hands. Cal. 19.73N, maillechort, 3/4-plate, “fausses côtes” decoration, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, palladium Breguet balance spring, “Wilmot’s” patented micrometer regulator .
