“Moon Watch” Omega, "Speedmaster Professional". Made circa 2000. Fine, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, tachometer, with black bezel and stainless steel Omega bracelet and clasp. Accompanied by a fitted box and certificate. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back engraved with the Speedmaster logo and dedication, anti-magnetic iron protecting cap, tachometer graduation on the black bezel, stylized lapidated lugs. Black with tritium-coated indexes, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers. Tritium-coated "skeleton" hands. Cal. 1863, rhodium-plated, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 42 mm. Thickness 14 mm. Notes Engraved on the case back: "THE FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON - FLIGHT-QUALIFIED BY NASA FOR ALL MANNED SPACE MISSIONS". The first "Speedmaster" model by Omega was launched in 1957.
