“Le Prince de Galles” Swiss, probably Geneva. Made circa 1800, the brooch made circa 1870. Fine, 18K gold, enamel and pearl set pendant watch with a gold, enamel and rose diamond set brooch fitting in the form of “The Prince of Wales Feathers”. Two-body, “Empire”, reeded band, the front and back covers overlaid with dark green guilloche enamel with half-pearl set borders. White enamel with Arabic numerals and outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. 30 mm., frosted gilt full plate, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance, pierced and chased continental type balance cock, silvered regulation disc. Diam. 36 mm.
