Two-body, chased and engraved in the form of a lion’s head holding a rose diamond set miniature pocket watch in its jaws, rose diamond set eyes, foliate bow, hinged back with concealed hinge and engraved lion’s mane. Glazed cuvette. Brooch fitting in the form of a lion’s head with rose diamond set eyes holding a bar in its jaws, two chains suspending a rose diamond set fleur-de-lys and fastening to suspend the watch. Small, white enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Gold “spade” hands. 10‘’’, frosted gilt, bar calibre, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm brass balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dim. 50 x 32 mm. overall.
