David Kulp(Deep Run School, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, active 1801-1820) - Fine songbook and bookplate, hand-drawn watercolor and ink on laid paper, for Catharina Gerhart 1815, with center oval cartouche enclosing elaborate script with leaf vines and tulips flanked by feathers and brownleafed tulip trees, all within an elaborate scalloped and lozenge decorated border, executed in bright shades of red, yellow, brown, and black, the music in the songbook is hand-lettered, 4 1/4" x 8".
