“Bouquet of Flowers” Swiss, probably Geneva, No. 4963. Made circa 1835. Fine, slim, 18K gold jump hour pocket watch with ramolayé and painted on enamel decoration. Four-body, the front cover with gold foliate ramolayé decoration against a black enamel ground, pendant and bow decorated with blue, white and black enamel, hinged and sprung back cover with a polychrome painted on enamel spray of flowers against a black ground and gold foliate border painted to resemble ramolayé. Hinged gold cuvette. Silver, eccentric, engine turned and foliate engraved, outer minute indexes and Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds, jump-hour aperture above. Gold minute hand with crescent tail. 35 mm. (15,5’’’), Lépine calibre, frosted gilt, 4 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm flat-rim gilt balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Diam. 41 mm.
