Flat top with glazed panel, molded entablature, glazed sides and front and back doors, step molded base and block feet, the whole veneered with well figured mahogany. Rectangular silvered with silvered inclined border, foliate engraved spandrels, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel “spade” hands. Rectangular brass plates with securing brackets, four turned pillars, fusee with chain, maintaining power, anchor escapement, large steel rod brass-bob pendulum with regulation nut, pendulum holdfast on the backplate. Dial and movement signed. Dim. 24.5 x 16.5 x 13.5 cm. Notes In December 1914, the main business of Charles Frodsham moved from 115 New Bond Street to 27, South Molton Street. The firm held three Royal Warrants at this time: His Majesty The King; H.R.H. The Prince of Wales; Her Majesty Queen Alexandra.
