George Peter Deisert(Adams County Artist, Pennsylvania, active 1794-1815) - Taufschein, hand-drawn watercolor and ink on paper, for Anna Maria Lang, 1802, Germany Township, Adams County, with central large heart enclosing a smaller heart and alternating red and black script and flowers, surrounded by 5 hearts and red, yellow, and green tulips, stylized flowers and vines, the background, retaining a typical overall yellow stippled decoration, approx. 13" x 17", in an early red and black stippled frame with turned half columns.
